I don't think BUF would want to resume the game. Retaining their current record actually screws CIN over being they were in full control of the game.

The wording of that may suggest they are leaning towards not playing it this week. |

There's just no perfect resolution to this situation. Some team is going to get the shaft, and it sounds like both the Bengals and the Bills are going to get it. Either they void the game giving them both one less game and win, or they make them play Tuesday or Wednesday giving potentially both teams short weeks to prepare going into the season finale and the playoffs.
Glad I'm not having to make this decision. |

They are saying they don’t have a plan in place -yet- but that will come in time. It’s obvious that the NFL knows they need the current time to be focused on the well being of the player and not the game. They won’t want to set a time and have the kid die in the hospital tonight. |
Really good information here from a qualified doctor. The biggest concern is how long he was given CPR. Three minutes is where doctors get concerned about brain damage—Hamlin was out for nine minutes.

(Of course I'm hoping Hamilton makes a full recovery though. At the end of the day we've heard positive news on his health and the Playoffs start next week.) Now, if BUF wants to be very classy. They will give the win to CIN in gratitude for the class they've shown to them. I don't see BUF doing that though. All BUF has to do is request 7-3 be the final score. That would be the best outcome for all involved. |

Buffalo forfeits, Cincy gets the win… that’s the only fair solution without resuming the game.

But as Bowser said, there is no perfect solution. No matter what, one or two teams are going to get the short end of the stick. Is what it is. |
Or you push everything back a week and play this game on Sunday by itself. Just won’t have a week off before Super Bowl
