I would love to see what Watkins does with a QB like Mahomes. As stated earlier in this thread by others... I feel like Watkins hasn't been able to get in a system that fits him well. Buffalo with their lack of good QB play and didn't have a lot of time with a young Goff.

This Wilkerson meeting goes along with my thinking on what Veach’s plan may be.

I think he wants to sign Watkins and Wilkerson, acquire a QB and maybe another defender, and draft defense thoroughly. Profit.

he should do well this season - i really think he will - he was just as touted as Hunt - if not more - coming off his NCAA season - will be a fun year - I truly think we'll finish around 10-6

I think the floor is 8 wins. Sky is the limit. I think 10 wins is certainly within reach. I know for the first time in decades i have actual hope though, misplaced or not.

I’ve said since Peters was traded—this roster will be better in August 2018 than it was in August 2017.
