-the plane they fly on has them sitting next to somebody on team flights
-they have to have a roommate the night before games in the hotel for away games instead of having their own room
-they don’t have a top flight 5 star cafeteria with every meal personalized for them

Those responses smell like a bunch of pussy assed bitches. 500k is the lowest salary these ****ing players get paid LMAO

Having a hotel roommate is kinda bullshit though. I don’t blame the players who hate that.

I could be wrong but I thought the hotel roommate thing was only for players lower on the totem pole for preseason games.

So how do we explain Clark Hunt being ranked near the bottom of all owners for the second year in a row on the NFLPA player survey?

Because the Chiefs practice facilities/full time (non gameday) locker room facilities are older than shit and inferior to many of the new facilities that have recently been built across the league.

Does that make Clark a bad owner?

Not in my opinion, but that NFLPA survey/rankings is mostly focused on practice facilities/amenities.

The Chiefs should move up in the draft in order to draft one of the top LT's. Future picks plus a player etc. What would it take to move up for a LT that falls to the mid/late 1st round?

They’re also inferior to many players coming from SEC/Big10 type facilities. I heard sporting KC has nicer facilities than the chiefs.

Not to mention it might affect how they sleep/rest the night before a game

I think a lot of facility issues get fixed when there is a new stadium deal in place.

A lot has changed in terms of expectations over the past 20 years. I have no doubt that Clark will build a top-notch facility. Hard to pump money in to a facility you might be leaving.

As for the plane, maybe they just need to use a different charter company. Here is how the Dolphins fly https://simpleflying.com/miami-dolph...ir-boeing-747/

Sure but when the rest of the competing teams pay the same salaries and offer better things in that regard, shit like that does matter.

Have you seen Oregon's facilities? They're insane.

I am with Geoff Schwartz on this one...Completely disagree with moving up to get a LT. KC has too many holes/depth concerns on the roster to spend multiple picks (only 6 this year) to move up for a LT...a player who is most likely fallen for a reason, and most likely models very similarly to Kingsley.

In looking at all the options, I think I'm leaning towards signing a vet for a couple of years while Kingsley develops. This isnt the year to be trading up in the draft. .

The 2 things I wonder about with this plan specifically is:

1. They want to get their 2nd rd pick on the field somewhere and use that high asset. Is it at RG?
2. Kid needs reps to learn. It’s the best way.

Couch-Potato 02-20-2025 04:44 PM

Regarding Clark Hunt’s cheapness, he has the lowest ranked facilities and the top ranked owners suite…hmmmm. Does make him seem a bit selfish, at least.

But he’s also looking to build a new stadium so why worry about revamping the locker room.
