First unit Saints ran relatively with ease right at first unit Chiefs defensive line. Need to get Chris Jones signed, then grab Dunlap, to plug that hole until Omenihu returns.

Andy has always ran as vanilla of an offense and defense as possible with the 1's in preseason games.

There is literally nothing that came from the Defense and Offense 1's, good or bad, on Sunday.

A few years ago our defense looked top 5 in the league during preseason then we started the season with one of the worst defenses in NFL history through 7 or 8 games.

People fretting over preseason have short memories. Stay healthy, that's goal #1.

Staying healthy is my biggest concern with Jones now. If he sits out the rest of the preseason there's no way he's in football shape come week 1. It's just not possible. If they make him play 3-4 games before giving him the contract, I won't sweat it. If he comes in week one and strains his back things are going to get ugly.

Imagine Jones to Denver. Get it done Veach.

Hell yeah I’d do that. Broncos would be gutted though. I don’t want CJ going anywhere! I’ve been trying to explain on coalition that I personally feel Veach got cocky on this one ans Jones changed his tune. Now he wants more money and Veach hadn’t planned for it. That’s on Veach. Understandable that we don’t want to mortgage the future on one player but CJ isn’t easily replaced. Hill was replaceable due to fact we have Mahomes throwing the ball with Reid coming up with crazy game plans. Not so much on defense without CJ..
