When you scorch a ball and it turns into two outs it's a tough break.

Batted ball luck isn't just Ramirez hitting a dribbler up the middle for a basehit in the 9th, it's also hard hit balls that turn into outs, like what happened to the Cardinals in the 7th and 8th last night.

you can say that about alot of plays, if jon jay's catches lastnight werent 6 inches to the right or higher. come on now.

Yeah, and that stuff matters. Over a short series, it can lurch to one side and affect who wins and who goes home.

42 through 3 isnt bad. you want 15 pitches or less per inning and your good.
