In an ideal world... but here's the rub. He wants to be a two way player, and by all accounts the organization is gonna let him try. What do you do with the guy if his pitching or hitting tool becomes major league ready, but the other tool is a year, two years or more away? I pretty much already know the answer, but just throwing it out there...

Perhaps that has been the issue all along? With all their down time, the bullpen has been beta tasting the “taste of KC dog” for the first 97 games and creating quite a mess?

Baseball will be back in less than 24 hours!

Looks like we've got Wacha, Singer and Lugo going this weekend against the White Sox. Nothing listed yet after Lugo. I was curious how they were gonna shake out the rotation after the break. And now we know...

A little surprised and disappointed we haven't made any other transactions beyond the Harvey move. Eleven more days until the deadline.

I am excited for the second half. We need a few things to fall into place and maybe, just maybe, we can compete until the end of the regular season.
