Same thing happened to Paul George as well in the NBA.

Maybe the Bills choose to forfeit this one or the Bills/Bengals mutually decide on something else but, as callous as it might be, the show has to go on in the end. The alternative path leads to an ethical discussion about what the NFL actually is and the NFL can't have that.

Should we maybe set up a separate thread for updates on his well-being separate from the football talk?

More recently, Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest when he collapsed during Denmark's Euro 2020 opening match against Finland. CPR, defibrillation on the field. Play resumed 48 minutes later.
