With BYU TV and Satellite Radio already, plus the 50 Million + mormons out there... I dont think it will be long before they catch Texas... Also, I have yet to see Texas Longhorn network on Direct TV and or Sirius/XM... When is that going to happen? |

Looks like the SEC is going to have to expand a bit. We already have TAMU, we should get OU. The Big XII is dead. Eventually there will be 2-3 huge super conferences.

I think this is how things will work out and the new realignment:
Fort Hayes State Pittsburg State Colorado School of Mines K-State Nebraska Wesleyan Missouri State SW Oklahoma State It forms a great conference and has a big footprint. |

I like the banter on this board and learn a lot from the other posters. I really don't get what I said last night. I just said the coaches were clueless and that was mostly based on having such important players in the game in the 4th quarter. Now I've been given miserable user for that? It sucks but I guess if having me around is really that bad I suppose I'll take off. Enjoy the football season fellas. |

Would it be too much to ask, if we included the Fighting Sioux of UND? Talk about your TV Footprint. We would get both North AND!!!! South Dakota TV Sets..............if indeed, there are actual TV sets in N&S Dakota. |

I mean c'mon - burying it in the middle of a thread that only has about 15 active viewers? Poor form. Or maybe it's more of a cry for help - kinda like eating a bunch of pills and showing up on your mothers doorstep or something. Hey...eating a bunch of pills...now there's an idea for ya! Just remember to post first and you'll get a bunch of people pretending that they care if you live like that WebGem guy. |

http://www.kansascity.com/2011/09/02...ners-will.html OU president says Sooners will decide conference affiliation soon NORMAN, Okla. | University of Oklahoma president David Boren said Friday that multiple conferences have shown interest in the Sooners and he expects to decide whether to leave the Big 12 within the next three weeks. Boren said Friday that he has received “interest from other conferences and other universities, so it's really a tribute to the strength of our program at the University of Oklahoma that there is so much interest in us.” Boren said Oklahoma will carefully evaluate its options and suggested the process could take as little as three days but likely no longer than three weeks. Texas A&M announced this week that it planned to leave the Big 12 after this season, assuming the Aggies are accepted into the Southeastern Conference. That would reduce the 10-team league to nine members |

I guess it really depends just how independently OU is acting. Are they truly acting independently, are they acting with OSU in mind, are they acting in secret with Texas?
The next question is what conference. If it is the PAC, you have to suspect Texas is still in play there. If its the SEC or the B!G, then OSU may not be their concern. If Texas isn't OU's concern, it might give KU some wiggle room to sneak in the conference. If Texas is manipulating, KU might lose out to Tech. Would still love to see my dream scenario of A&M-MU-KU and UNC to the SEC! Yeah, I know, something about flying monkeys and butts. I do think it is interesting the KU chancellor came out and made a statement just the other day that KU is not handcuffed to KSU. Perhaps we do have something brewing. |

Statement from Okie State. The Big 12 is over folks, and hopefully we will see movement next week. |

My $.02:
Pac 10 - Texas and KU SEC - OU, OSU, MU The ACC and Big 10 can take whatever they want from the Big East. Notre Dame (hello today's scoreboard) would be wise to join one of them... |
Quote:
ISU, Mizzou, KU, and KSU to the Big 10 to make that league a 16 team league. OU, OSU, Texas to the Pac 10. Texas Tech and Baylor fend for themselves. |
OU, OSU, Texas, Texas Tech to Pac-12
Mizzou to SEC Remaining Big 12 teams merge with Big East. |
