KU kickoff returner fielded the ball inside the one at the coffin corner. Result after a lengthy review, was a safety on the next play by running it up the gut into the teeth of their defense. :rolleyes:

Really weird defensive game plan. We are committed to just dropping everyone rushing 4 every play except for maybe first down when expecting the run. And every third down we have rushed 4 and just hoped they make a mistake. Just really bad.

And don’t let Jared Casey off the hook.

He was a complete pussy on that safety. He avoided contact while lead blocking.

It was a terrible play call made worse by Casey playing matador.
