The wife got the IPA from KBC (Kennebunkport Brewing) at Trader Joe's. It's as bad of an IPA as I've ever had. Gross.

The description of SVP sort of intrigued me. I'm not a coffee drinker although I love things that taste like coffee. Bearcat mentioned mocha and that sealed the deal for me. Can't wait to pick this up tomorrow. |
If you are a staunch Blvd Wheat drinker you'll love the 80-Acre.

Yep. It's their wheat that's been dry hopped. Very tasty.

Getting pretty antsy for that. |

Just pouring my first of this Ale (2012 version) -- smooth, rich, un-sweet, slight hint nutty taste. I like beer that is not sweet at all, I don't usually go for Ale, but the store was out of anchor steam, so I grabbed this & the Humming Ale -- which I've never tried either. Guiness -- like, but much smoother of course, not a stout. I'd rank it my favorite ale :D |
The ****ers didn't get the SVP in today.
Got a sixer of 80 Acre instead. Not too bad. |
Anybody tailgating tomorrow have a sixer of something decent on hand and want to sell it to me? I did not get any today and I'd rather not be a mooch all morning.

Holy Hell, Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout was amazing. If you can find it, buy it.

Camping out? No.
I like Cantillon and all, but not enough to sleep outside in December. I'll show up a few hours early and if I get in, so be it. If not, I can always go home and drink lambics out of my own collection. One day maybe the hype train will die and we will revert to the days of Cantillons sitting dusty on the shelf for months at Gomer's. |
