Besides PFF has Alex as a Top 10-12 QB the last 2 years and if KC gets that kind of play will win 10-11 games. |

Vollmer's 4-yr deal w/ NE includes $7m signing bonus, another $7.75m in base salaries + $10m in roster bonuses/incentives. Almost $25m max. |
Since we've got you in the thread, Bad Guy, how are you feeling on the prospects of trading down, or trading Albert?

Volmmer deal will have $8.25 million guaranteed
Posted by Mike Florio on March 25, 2013, 5:23 PM EDT sebastian-vollmer Getty Images Some confusion has surfaced as to whether the Patriots and tackle Sebastian Vollmer have agreed to terms. Per a source with knowledge of the situation, they have. The four-year contract will pay $8.25 million Vollmer guaranteed, and it will have a base value of $17 million. Another $9 million will be available in playing-time incentives and roster bonuses, along with a $1 million Pro Bowl bonus. Vollmer, a German-born player who arrived via round two of the 2009 draft, didn’t draw a lot of interest in free agency, presumably because no one believed he wanted to leave New England. He didn’t. And he won’t be. |

The Chiefs didn't give up a 1. The Raiders won 7 games with Palmer. 7 games for 12.5 million over that time. Plus, you're giving up a 2nd rounder this year for a guy not on your roster on top of a 1 last year. Alex Smith would have to break his neck in training camp and never play again for this to be a worse trade. Stop the bullshit spin. |

Raiders didn't give him nothing to work with, especially on Defense.. 4000+ yard passer on a decent team would have been a playoff team |

PFF is a better indicator than Joe Slapdick BTW. |

The guy hasn't played at a high level in 5 years and the Raiders paid a mint for him. The Chiefs make that move and they get crushed for it. In the end, it was a horrid move that cost a #17 in 2012 and the 35th in 2013 for a QB who was showing signs he's been finished since 2009 with diminished arm strength and poor decisions. |
