Not happening Billay.

We’ll get JuJu or Landry.

They were mostly garbage against the run though which obviously matches up well with KC. It’s a big if, but IF they can stay healthy in the secondary and pass rush they have the pieces to give KC fits. Getting a dependable third option in the passing game goes a long way towards making the offense more unpredictable and dangerous. That and actually leaning on the run game when called for, but I think by now we know that’s never going to happen under Reid.

It still took 3 turnovers to beat KC. They’re getting better but this isn’t the 2000s ravens d.

Chargers are going to win the off-season SB again. They are signing every JAG they can get their hands on.

The narrative was that James shuts down Kelce, was surprised to see Kelce had damn near 300 yards against them.

I get it. Just a lot of player movement today. Figured someone like Ward may be attractive to other teams. Players like that. Not our lesser talent that needs to leave.

Agreed

JC Jackson is overrated.
Khalil Mack is over the hill.
Derwin James is overrated.
Joey Bosa is no Nick.

The Jags committed a potential $114 MILLION to 2 receivers who combined for 1528 yards and 6 tds last season. Calvin Johnson who once put up nearly 1700 yards and 16 TD’s IN ONE SEASON made $112 MILLION his entire career.

Jags GM will get fired and Trevor Goff will have to get traded in a few years.

Interesting.. last season was the first season he played in every game. Only 27, lots of upside. The inconsistency with starts scares me a little, Denver has signed a number of guys like this over the years. Hopefully, he's different.

DJ Jones was productive last year for the 49ers -
56 tackles, 2 sacks, 10 TFL, 2 FF.

He is a good player, but Denver has a little less money now with a $30 M deal.

Say we sign Landry as our WR #2 in the slot, is WR still a priority in the draft? Maybe we still want a deep threat to create space for our other threats, but hard to find someone faster than Hardman.

We need a young receiver regardless, so I would say yes.

I think we draft one in the first three rounds, regardless of who we sign.

Could sign Landry and also trade Hardman+pick for Lockett.

Hill, Lockett and Landry works for me

It's a nice add and positions KC nicely. I think Reid + whatever they can get with the extra 30-40 million keeping Mathieu would have required is better than Mathieu alone.

If we sign Landry please grab George Pickens in the 2nd. If we somehow pull off ARob on a multi-year contract I say go all-in on defense in the draft. Cheetah/ARob/Hardman/Kelce is ridiculous!

Rookie WR’s historically have not had an immediate impact in Andy Reid’s offense.

Hardman and Tyreek probably have the best rookie WR seasons in Andy’s offense but they were not starting WR’s and were more of gadget guys (especially Tyreek in his rookie season).

That’s why addressing WR in free agency is a top priority.

Man I hope it’s us. The top 5 players in the secondary would be pretty well set. The depth can be filled in through the draft or redemption projects.

Focus on the pass rush with a FA or two and early in the draft.

If he goes to Bears, he is not going to start

Basically the basis of this rumor is Poles knows Mathieu from his time in KC… earth shattering projection.

BigChiefFan 03-14-2022 10:32 PM

CB Rasul Douglas is an under the radar player, who looks to be ascending.

Some people don’t put things into perspective like this.

We were rumored to go after Fletcher Cox because Brett Veach was there in Philly when they drafted him. I honestly didn’t know that lol. I don’t mind meaningless fun facts like that.

Back-filling the Shelby Harris loss.

That’s pretty much why I considered him a non-factor for their losses in the trade package. He was good for them but not likely an upgrade next year on what they’ll get from Jones.

Rest of the division is definitely improving.

Oh hell yes.

Now we’re talking!

There’s your goddamn Cover 2 killer. Big, fast and EXTREMELY physical. And great with the ball in his hands.

He would absolutely wreck things here. I’d give up a 3rd for him without blinking.

He's good but will always challenge Sammy Watkins for the Ironman award

For some reason I thought he broke his ankle. Anyway I remember him being good in college but hurt quite often his last year.
