Dodgers line up tonight!

i think that right now, this moment, that's the best offensive lineup in baseball.

Going to need more. No way Waino pitches a shutout against this lineup.

BigRedChief 10-03-2014 05:20 PM

Waino's curve is bueno today.

kcxiv 10-03-2014 05:22 PM

if anything, we are getting his pitch count way way up there already.

Yep. You got some good hitters. little bloop, off the fist, dribblers up the middle, nothing solid but you are getting his count up.

Hanley crushed that line drive to the 3rd. Kemp had a solid hit. Uribe and Puig was the only bullshit hits they got. Uribe's bat broke though. So im sure that had some to do with it. Dee had no clue what to do with that curveball. about 6 of them curves were way out of the strike zone. Dee was just clueless didnt know what the **** to do. haha

At least Kershaw's PC is low.

Hitters are hanging over the plate these days. You have to pitch inside to keep them off that outside curve ball. That goes for our hitters too.

With those facts that I just listed why would anyone think it was intentional. Butt hurt move on Gonzales part.

Hey, good luck Cards fans. I've been looking forward to this game/matchup a lot. Wainwright vs. Kershaw... gem in progress!

Also, watching AGon and Molina yell at each other is always entertaining. Love the fire ... going to make the series fun to watch.

You touch an ump you sit a game. That being said AGon is just as much a drama queen as a Molina.

That Puig hit was about 6 inches off the ground. Good pitch. Better hitting.

jd1020 10-03-2014 06:09 PM

Wainwright going at 20 pitches an inning... holy shit.

George Liquor 10-03-2014 06:09 PM

He's throwing all over the place now, them 4 balls to Adrian were way way out of the strike zone. He's either rattled or tired.

We have seen this crap before way too many times. Wainwright has ace stuff until the postseason and then all of a sudden he has bottom of the rotation stuff. Chris carpenter he is not.

kcxiv 10-03-2014 06:14 PM

to be fair, even the hits the Dodgers are getting are balls 5 inches off the ground. He's just being hit.

Waino will lose his release point from time to time in a game. Having it happen when Kershaw is pitching, not good for us Cardinal fans.

Theres a reason a lot of people picked your team to win the NL and the WS. It's a loaded lineup.

He got beat twice by us last year in the playoffs. There were whispers he couldn't be the same pitcher in the post season he was in the regular season. I would think he would have a major chip on his shoulder. He's taking it out on us tonight.

kcpasco 10-03-2014 06:25 PM

1 thing is for sure is Wainwright is no Chris Carpenter. The Dodgers are clearly the better team this year and I only gave the Cards about a 20 percent chance to win this series.

jd1020 10-03-2014 06:29 PM

I wouldn't panic Cards' fans - the Cards ALWAYS play best backed up against the wall or from behind, I could only dream the Braves could ball like that.

They'll be fine and most likely take the series, I'd still take a bet on them.
