Yay! I can't believe Veach got my dude. I didn't want Veach to break the bank on all the shit OTs in this FA class but rather take a chance on this kid developing. Honestly, it also still leaves the draft open to taking an LT if they want and maybe developing that kid for a year.

:hmmm: |
If this guy turns out to be a slightly above average LT the Chiefs made the best signing they probably could have made.
If he is just avg it is still great. If he is as bad as Kingsley or Morris...and I dont know how that would be possible....but then it is awful. |

Good call. |
Wonder if they will try to keep DJ Humphries if the price is low enough.

Dillphag is somewhere muttering and upset we didnt extend and tender a 200M dollar contract to Morris.

Love this! I am very happy with what this team is doing leading up to the draft! Yes, I am all onboard with Simmons if he is within reach. :thumb:

Simmons has Pro Bowl LT potential if medically cleared. |
Ascending LT that has vastly improved each year since coming out of a small school.
Perfect deal that allows Kingsley to develop and find his place and a vet that can man the LT position long term if he continues to develop. PFF grades improved each year, which is exactly what you want to see. Another great deal by Veach and his crew. |
Not sure why you would want Humphries back now.
A guy who couldn't even beat out Thuney. I know he was in a strange spot and didnt get a chance but if he was really the guy he would have. |
