Who do you think he is? Elvis Grbac?

TLO 09-05-2023 01:25 PM

I can't help but feel like this is Chris Jones' fault...

Direckshun 09-05-2023 01:26 PM

The good news is, the Lions cannot stop Mahomes no matter who he's throwing to.

And Mahomes is going to be out for ****ing blood.

duncan_idaho 09-05-2023 01:26 PM

Stinks for KC, for sure, if Kelce is limited or unavailable.

Silver linings I see:
1) It's an NFC team
2) Thursday game, so there is a longer lay-off between Game 1 and Game 2
3) Whatever new things the Chiefs are trying to do with the WRs is going to be unseen. How the Chiefs will deploy Skyy Moore? What is the Rashee Rice package? Where does Ross plug in? Toney usage?

So there are no tendencies to follow on that stuff.

It was only a matter of time before we saw eye to eye!

Yeah, I say sit kelce unless you’re 200% sure he’s ok. Give him the 10 days to heal up. Game 1 is a great time for Andy to have the preparation/conditioning edge. Plus it’s when he can most pull from a genius unexpected script that can catch Detroit off guard. We blew out Houston a few years back just simply by a script absolutely nobody was expecting.

Gotta say we've been pretty lucky on injuries the last few years outside of the TB SB fiasco. Law of averages we were gonna have a few more guys dinged up at some point.

If we win this even by the tiniest margin, against a pretty good Lions team imo, without Jones, Omenihu and Kelce that is a pretty damn positive endorsement of the roster.

I'm pretty sure that streak ended during the last postseason. Didn't matter, of course.

"Ok guys, welcome to your last practice before our first game Thursday."

As part of the practice, we're extending it until 3pm. I know, I know, we've all got things to do. "

But today we're going to post on social media Kelce gets hurt. We're not sure of what yet, but we will post something. We will be providing lunch and on that big screen we will monitor the Chiefsplanet meltdown. It should make it for an entertaining afternoon. Now let's get out there and have a good practice. "

To be fair, I think Mahomes could turn into the black knight from Holy Grail and still find a way to get on the field and win football games.

I’m absolutely convinced our QB is as tough as Brett Favre

Noah Grey's time to shine opportunity to the Chiefs fans and the rest of the league.
