With carrying 4 TE's because of that FB situation I think the extra spot is way more likely to be given to a core special teamer or a lineman than a WR.

I would be shocked if Watson and James don't make the roster.

Why consider Richie James a lock but not Ross? James hasn't done anything here either.

To me Justin Watson is the guy hoping for a status quo nothing changes camp/preseason.

If everything goes as expected he makes the team and probably sees playing time, if someone else stands out he's likely the first guy out.

Because Richie James is a returner...his track record is better than John Rosses too.

It would definitely be shocking but it's not out of the realm of possibilities and that's why we should stop calling him a "lock" like he has some kind of unmovable contract.

Every new rule that passes makes that less and less important.

I don't see them going into the year with a question at punt returner after last year.

KO returns are being phased out yes but the punt return game killed us at times last year.

With our current offense, I woudln't field punts. Just make sure they kick it, then get away from it.

James cost more and has actually done something in the league. That carries weight.

Pretty sure it'd be his first season on the PS.

James is a good slot player. I think he's a lock.

John Ross has been awful and I don't expect anything from him.

Watson is a solid back of the roster player that I would love to see passed by Justyn Ross.
