True, but the old SB window is closed. IMO, they'll likely take a step backwards this season, as it's the first year of building Super Bowl window #2 with Mahomes.

How many times have we "god this schedule is so tough'd" it and then it comes down to it and it's not as bad.

It's a long way to the season. Who knows who's gonna be good bad or ugly.

Yup and also they want the best match ups early for health. They think we will be out of it after they ****ed us so they get us on TV early.

First 8 teams we face are projected or did have winning records. It's an NFL record. No team has ever started with that. We play one home game in a 4 game stretch twice.

The 3 game road stretch in December is pretty bad but, other than that I don't see much to gripe about. I actually think we could be 3-4 (or more likely 4-3) at the break and be set up pretty nicely for the rest of the season. We should have most of our glitches worked out by then and be ready to roll.

Unless something fairly extreme happens, like a slew of injuries or Mahomes has zero chemistry with the new WRs, I see no reason why they can’t beat the Bills or anyone else.

Andy usually has our offense playing well the first month with new stuff. If we can get through those first 4 games then we have a 4 game stretch with 3 of 4 at home then the bye.
