Chiefs interest in Cordarrelle Patterson lol

Not sure how much he would cost but I would take a shot at Sebastian Joseph-Day from the Rams.

If KC is looking to upgrade its RT spot in free agency, I'm not sure it's going to find a better value than La'el Collins.

That's the route I'd go if I'm Veach and I'm trying to upgrade at a bear-able cost.

Brown-Thuney-Humphrey-Smith-Collins would pretty easily be the best OL in the NFL. Not a single weak spot and honestly not that expensive due to the rookies.

I can't imagine Collins would cost a LOT in draft compensation.

What about signing Eric Fisher? Tell Orlando he gets his LT money but he can play RT this year. That would also work well if he was a team player (and I think he would be as he would be our long-term LT).

Good lord.

I heard some statistic that only one player drafted 25-50 over the last 15-20yrs had more than 8 sacks in his rookie season (Clay Matthews).

We need a pass rush, folks, and we're not going to be getting an immediate impact edge in the first round at 30.

If Smith is the opening move on Veach's chess board, so be it. Let's see how it all plays out but it's not like anyone can really question the thought process behind it.

You can't be serious.

Why’s that funny?

If they use him in a role similar to the Falcons, it’s very intriguing.

Fisher looked good at left tackle last year. I would do a 1 year deal.

Dunerdr 03-14-2022 09:47 AM

No to Fisher, no to Patterson. Fishers an old now, Pattersons an old and a flash in the pan one time in a decade for a terrible ****ing team.

To be fair, 7 sacks would be a dramatic improvement over what we have so if a rookie could give us that, it's probably worth it in the long run.

All in all, though I agree with you. Let the man work, he's armed and dangerous. Love me some Brett Veach.

It better be ****ing cheap. Like dirt cheap.

MahomesMagic 03-14-2022 09:48 AM

I'm all in on Patterson if the price is right.
