DAMMIT. I can't watch the Blues/Jets game because 'blackout.' Just ruined my evening.

OK, who called a 3 point comeback for the BJs over the Lighting in the first game? ROFL

Just love NHL playoffs. Especially when my team pulls out the win on the road. That definitely helps.

A couple of upsets last night, both by former Stanley Cup winning coaches with different teams.

It's refreshing not having a team in the playoffs this year. It doesn't take me an extra 45 minutes to fall asleep because I'm fired up from a close win or bad loss. It's like having a $20 bet on the Jets vs Texans, it's really hard to get too excited on the outcome.

All I hope for this NHL playoff season is for the Pens to lose is the worst possible fashion followed by their jet going down somewhere in the south where Sydney Crosby survives only to find himself jettisoned from the plane, unable to move, covered in condiments from a rogue serving tray during the decent on top of a fire ant hill.

Maybe next year Chiefs, uh, Flyers fans!

The first round of the NHL playoffs is easily the best. You get home and hockey is on for 5-6 hours every night until teams are eliminated.
Not sure if there are any Blues fans on this forum (I imagine most from KC are St.Louis fans if they follow hockey?) but Binnington's performance last night was godly. |
Avs looking calm and in control so far. Still just 0-0, but I like what I'm seeing.

Welp, not the Avs night. Figures a mediocre goalie would stand on his head against them.
