We'll not be fine.

Alex Smith.

Stop it.

When he started against Denver the first ****ing pass from Mahomes bounced right off his chest.

And that wasn't the first.

I was very high after last year in preseason and training camp. He came out and caught 21 balls on 39 attempts for barely 10 yards a catch. Whoopie-do. Go prove it. He's not a rookie. He's started games. If he wants 500 yards, he'll have to do it on less than 100 targets.

I already debunked the notion that he dropped "easy" catches in a debate I had a few weeks ago. I specifically went through most of the targets he had and the "drops" were mainly very tough throws/impossible to catch. If you would like to provide evidence that supports your claims then please do so. Because I still maintain that he never dropped more than one easy catch last year which came against Denver.

He dropped 10 percent of catchable passes in college and had 2 official drops last year.

It's only preseason in one thread, and look how awesome he is in preseason in another. Prediction - you guys will turn on him before the end of the season, and Watkins too.

He looked good in the playoff game.

Maybe he's a budding superstar, maybe he isn't.

Why was he impacted exclusively? Is he allergic to Alex Smith?

Nobody has a debate on a discussion board. Debates are formal and moderated. You have discussions on discussion boards.

Hopefully he can become a good role player. He has the talent.

He'll be lucky to get 39 targets this season, so he better do better than 21 catches and 212 yards even if he DOES start in the slot. I'm not really interested in going through every snap of a guy who MIGHT get 400 yards if he plays really well, so you can have that win.

Dont have time to read through 10 pages......but if not already posted, here you go:

I think he definitly has the potential to become a high-end #2 WR. Remember, he is two years younger than Conley too.

No, but there were multiple plays last year where Robinson was running wide open for huge gains and Alex missed him, or threw to him, and missed the throw.

I'll believe it when I see it. His rookie season he was okay nothing spectacular so I'm not going to get too excited just yet.

Red Dawg 08-14-2018 09:44 PM

Robinson is good and has been under utilized. Smith was that bad at hitting WRs. He needs playing time with the ones.

Hog's Gone Fishin 08-14-2018 09:53 PM

Robinson will get significant opportunity because either Watkins or Conley will be injured.
