I wasn't talking about Scott's plans, I was talking the information Pioli has on Hunt's plans.

Clark wasn't the guy who was supposed to be bringing in a QB for competition last year. Pioli isn't the guy who just said he was going to hire a vet coach with experience. I don't see a good reason to connect the two into a "fooled me once..." type scenario.

Clark will hire a coach...but he will hire someone he knows will get along with Pioli. Thus, he can avoid a buyout...

Clark was just trying to please all of us yesterday with his interviews. Get your heads out of your asses...who is our GM right now? Apparently, Clark is NOT in a rush to find a new GM...rather CLARK is trying to find someone who is willing to work with Pioli...

THAT is why we are targeting Special Teams Coaches...

I think that Hunt should recruit his new GM from The Planet. Since so many here claim to have the right answer and solution about everything.

Nobodies sources inside the organization have sent them any update emails lately. That's a point in favor of Clark actually handling this search himself.

Is all of this misinformation being spread coming from Pioli? Of course not.

But you'd have to be very naive to believe NONE of it is coming from him.

As removed as Clark is from the fanbase, it's my opinion that he does realize this. It's going to get done sooner rather than later, it just has that "feel" to it.

That said, what are the chances he's eyeballing someone not able to interview at this time? I'm not sure who is in the playoffs that would constitute a "big name hire".

No I am not. I do think a lot of the "reports" we hear come from "insider" information. I don't think all of these reports have "insider" information.
I do think they are doing thier jobs by getting people excited and talking and following and so on.
Surely you don't think all or even the majority of the reports you hear are correct.

i.e. Peter King says no to Ferentz to KC while Ian Rappaport says Ferentz is interviewing tomorrow. Only one of these guys is going to be right.
One of these guys has real info one doesn't. But either way they are making thier respective place of employment money by generating all of the hype and traffic to websites and so on.

I have little doubt that Dr. Evil has machinations in the works. I mean, it's second-nature to the psychotic bastard.

Also, I am firmly in the Clark Hunt camp at this time. I'm very proud of our young owner, I believe him, and am looking forward to the events sure to transpire over the next few months.

I have made a conscious choice to believe Clark was telling the truth. If he's lying, I have ZERO reason to continue being a fan.

So before I make that kind of drastic decision, I am going to wait for the TRUTH instead jumping to conclusions.
